After reading about the coming explosion of e-readers (granted it’s been a long time coming) here: ebooks taking hold, I started wondering how publishers actually prepare their content for the readers.
I suppose Amazon and the like will bend over backwards to cut deals with the big names and do the conversion for them, but can it be that the rest of us actually have to do it using self-service? Appears so.

But Sony actually makes you fill out a form with your catalog info:publisher info to Sony and they will get back to you when the ‘self service tools’ are launched.
